  1. The first event will be an informational and fundraising dinner in January 2016. Come try acorn based foods, learn how we processed the acorns, share acorn wisdom with fellow nuts. You may decide to hop on the wagon and become a New England Cooperative member!

  2. Maybe I just didn’t look close enough but, where is “local”? The only thing I’ve finding is New England, which is pretty big.

      Hi Amy,

Glad you asked! When we started, “local” meant our own back yards, but in the last couple of years we have expanded our gathering to include trees in ‘belonging’ to friends and family in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts… So we’ll change the description to “regional” since we want to distinguish our acorn flour from what comes from other regions of the U.S., and the flour/starch that is imported from Korea. Thank you for reaching out, are you interested in eating acorns?
